Hoshiarpur - To maintain Hindu-Sikh unity in Punjab, it is necessary to have an alliance between Akali and BJP and this will be the right step taken by both the parties for Punjab and the people of Punjab. He said that in the last two elections (Vidhan Sabha 2022 and Lok Sabha 2024) both the parties contested the elections by showing their strength and the result was zero and the tactics of the opponents are seen to be successful. That there is a split between Hindus and Sikhs. He said that not only Hoshiarpur but the Akali-BJP leaders of every constituency and district are appealed to raise the issue of alliance with their respective High Commands and fight with full force by forming the government in Punjab like in the past. Give a befitting response to the rising separatist forces here. Mr. Gand and Rana said that the increasing number of criminal incidents in Punjab and the emergence of forces creating a rift in Hindu-Sikh unity is a matter of concern. Through social media, Punjab and anti-Hindu-Sikh forces are creating such an environment that the feeling of fear is increasing in the hearts of people. Due to which the prosperity of Punjab can be in danger at any time. He also appealed to the people of Punjab not to pay too much attention to provocative posts to maintain peace and harmony in their state. And instead of opposing those who write or post such things, encourage them by liking or commenting on their posts. Mr. Gand and Rana invited the prominent leaders of both the parties to leave the fight of ego and supremacy and unite on the path of unity, otherwise the results will be the same as 2024 in the future. Because if both had contested the election together, today the election results would have been in favor of Akali-BJP. But fighting separately, both of them faced a crushing defeat, which is not in favor of Punjab.
