4224 voters will take advantage of 'vote from home' facility

District Election Officer Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that this time the Election Commission has made arrangements for the elderly above 85 years of age and voters with more than 40 percent disability to cast their vote from home through postal ballot. Special teams of the administration will visit the homes of voters who have opted for voting from home and complete the voting process from May 21 to 29 with complete secrecy. For this, 5-5 mobile polling teams have been formed in every assembly constituency in the district. There will be 4 polling personnel in each team, which includes a polling officer, a micro observer, a security personnel and a videographer.

Jatin Lal said that Form 12D related to choosing the option of voting from home was distributed to 8,643 eligible voters in the five assembly constituencies for the Lok Sabha general elections, out of which 2,994 voters had filled their forms for voting from home. Have deposited it with the officer. Form 12D was distributed to 1,681 voters in Chintpurni (SC) Vis, out of which 685 voters have submitted the forms with the option to vote from home. Form 12D was distributed to 1,569 voters in Gagret Vis, out of which 582 voters submitted their forms. In Haroli Vis, 591 out of 1,825 voters have opted to vote from home. In Una, 488 voters out of 1,638 have opted to vote from home through Form 12D. Apart from this, Form 12D was given to 1,930 voters from Kutlahar constituency, out of which 648 voters have submitted their Form 12D to the concerned returning officer to vote from home.
Apart from this, Form 12D was given to a total of 3,499 voters in the assembly by-elections Gagret and Kutlahar, out of which 1230 voters have submitted their forms to the concerned election officer. In Kutlahar Vis, Form 12D was given to 1930 voters out of which 648 voters submitted the forms to vote from home and in Gagret, out of 1569 voters, 582 voters submitted their Form 12D to the concerned returning officer to vote from home.
