Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 22nd April 2025: In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Geetika Singh has cancelled the license of firm Noble Careers Institute.
Additional District Magistrate Geetika Singh informed that the owner of the firm Noble Careers Institute SCF No. 30, 2nd Floor, Phase 7 Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Mrs. Reena Singh Kapoor, daughter of Mr. Suresh Kumar Gakhar and wife Mr. Anurag Singh Kapoor, resident of House No. 920 Phase 3B2, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, was issued a Coaching Institute of IELTS license No. 380/IC dated 10.02.2020, which expired on 09.02.2025.
In this regard, the Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that the firm did not apply for renewal of the license nor did it submit a monthly report. The licensee did not provide information about the monthly report, advertisements and seminars related to the firm, nor was the office informed about the half-yearly report.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that based on the above mentioned situation regarding the firm, the licensee has committed a violation under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012 due to non-renewal of the license as per the Act/Rules and Advisory, non-sending of monthly reports and advertisements, closure of the office, non-compliance of the clauses of the license, non-response/clarification of the notice.
Therefore, in exercise of the powers vested in it under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, the license of the firm Noble Careers Institute of Coaching Institute of IELTS No. 380/IC dated 10.02.2020 has been revoked/cancelled with immediate effect.
Apart from this, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee will be responsible in every respect for it and will also be responsible for compensating for it.
