Rajpura, April 17 – Punjab Health System Corporation Vice Chairman Maninderjit Singh Vicky Ghanaur today made a surprise visit to Government Hospital Rajpura. During this, he interacted with the patients and listened to their problems. Apart from this, he inspected various wards and directed the SMO to immediately remove the shortcomings that have been found.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that he is listening to the problems of the people in all the hospitals so that they can be resolved on priority basis. He said that he has visited many hospitals in Punjab and talked to the patients. He said that lack of cleanliness has been found in the Government Hospital of Rajpura and apart from this, there is a huge shortage of staff in the Government Hospital of Rajpura, which will be filled immediately.
In response to a question, he said that he had spoken to the traffic police and DSP Rajpura on phone and the government would take strict action against the vehicles parked illegally outside the hospital and those who commit any kind of vandalism or incident in the hospital premises. On this occasion, he was accompanied by Minority Commission Punjab member Islam Ali, S.M.O Rajpura Dr. Sonia Agarwal and staff.
