This is determining the scale of popularity of the candidate. Shiromani Akali Dal candidate NK Sharma from Patiala Lok Sabha Constituency has defeated his opponents in this matter. Amrish Tyagi, in-charge of NK Sharma's social media war room, issued a report based on the publicity so far, saying they are being overshadowed. There, his election campaign slogan #patialedapehredar has also made its place in the top trends on Twitter. Sharma's campaign on social media is attracting a lot of youth. Amrish Tyagi said that the popularity of the hashtag can be estimated from the reactions, views and likes of the people on his Facebook page for the past few days due to the development work done during Sharma's tenure and his impeccable image.
This time there is a four-way contest on the Patiala seat. Tyagi said that Praneet Kaur has 2 lakh 29 thousand followers on Facebook, while Congress candidate Dr Dharamvir Gandhi has 96 thousand followers and AAP candidate Dr Balbir Singh has 43 thousand followers. Surpassing all these, NK Sharma is leading on the digital platform with 4 lakh 7 thousand followers.
