Mohali May 12 - Shrimad Bhagwat Katha is being organized on the occasion of the foundation day of Shri Hari Ji at Shri Hari Mandir Sankirtan Sabha registered Mohali located in Phase-5 of Mohali. On the first day of which the temple committee members including President Mahesh Manan, Surinder Sachdeva, Pramod Sowati under the leadership of Kishori Lal, Rajkumar Gupta, Vajram Dhanwan, Hansraj Khurana, Ram Avtar Sharma, Chandan Singh, Kishan Kumar Sharma, Rakesh Sohi, Shiv Kumar Rana, Sanjeev Gupta, Sukhram Dhiman, Dr. Anoop Sharma, Ravi Rawat, Vijay Sharma organized a grand Kalash Yatra in which Rajwana, Sunita, Kanta Rani, Sneh Sharma Pitambari Devi, Mudh, Reet Sharma and their entire team and women Councilor Madam Baljit Kaur participated.
The Kalash Yatra starts from the temple and ends at its starting point with band Baje circumambulating the area with musical instruments and dancing, singing and dancing on behalf of the devotees. Meanwhile, to welcome the Kalash Yatra, Srimad Bhagwat Katha Vyas Sri Nagali Durbar Saint Swami Sureshwarananda Puriji specially arrived and with the support of all the temple committee members installed the Kalash in the temple premises. During this, they were accompanied by Kusum Bhatia, Waja Sharma, chief guest Madam Meen Tayal, Rama Kaushik and temple head priest Shankar Shasti and other priests and dignitaries. Apart from this, on the first day of Srimad Bhagwat Katha, Katha Vyas Swami Sureswarananda Puriji Maharaj gave detailed information about Bhagwat Mahatmaya Katha to the devotees. The members of the temple committee said that before the end of the story, a great aarti was performed and after that an atut bhandara was organized for the devotees.
