Youth Shot in Leg in Indiscriminate Firing at Kalalti

Ambala, September 15:- In Kalalti village under Mulana police station, 10-15 people who arrived on cars and motorcycles allegedly opened indiscriminate fire at a youth who was heading towards the fields today. The youth sustained serious injuries in the attack and was immediately admitted to Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantt.
According to reports, Balwinder, a resident of Kalalti, was going to the fields with his brothers in the morning to collect grass for the cattle. The attackers, who were lying in wait by the roadside, allegedly attacked them without any conversation and opened fire at Balwinder. The sudden attack created panic, and one bullet hit Balwinder in the leg. After committing the crime, the attackers fled the spot in their vehicles. The family immediately took the blood-soaked Balwinder to Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantt, where he is currently undergoing treatment. On receiving the information, police from Mulana police station reached the spot and started an investigation.
Police said that the statements of the injured Balwinder and his family have been recorded and efforts are being made to trace the accused. An old rivalry is being cited as a possible reason behind the entire incident.
Meanwhile, a video is also going viral on social media, in which a car can be seen lying down from the road. Its rear window is broken. Two number plates lying on top of the car can also be seen in the video. People present in the video are claiming that these number plates belong to the vehicles of the attackers. It is worth mentioning that there is also a police post in Kalalti.
