Workshop on Mental Health Organized at Government College Haroli

Haroli/Una, September 9 (Rajveer Chopra):- A workshop on Mental Health was organized at Government College Haroli with the objective of creating awareness among students about mental health. During the workshop, students were provided information about the importance of mental health, stress management, positive thinking and emotional balance.
During the workshop, expert speaker Krishna Kumar Ladakhi (Geeta Therapist) explained various ways to deal with stress related to studies, examinations and daily life through spiritual methods and verses from the Bhagavad Gita. Students were also encouraged to share their problems with family, friends, teachers or an appropriate expert.
The Principal of the college said that along with academic education, awareness about mental health is also essential for the overall development of students.
A total of 180 students enthusiastically participated in the workshop and also asked various questions related to mental health.
At the end of the programme, Programme In-charge Prof. Captain Sonika Saini expressed her gratitude to Ladakhi Ji, and he was honoured with a memento by the Principal.
On this occasion, the entire college staff, including Prof. R.S. Dadwal, Prof. Gurbaksh Rai, Prof. Dr. Nidhi Sharma, Prof. Kalpana Sharma, Dr. Shakuntala Rana, Dr. Bindia Chandel and Dr. Richa Sharma, was present.
