Haryana Prepares to Tackle Fire Accidents in HighRise Buildings
Chandigarh, 9 September:- The Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services, Haryana, is going to procure two 90-metre and two 104-metre aerial ladder platforms with the objective of further modernising and strengthening emergency services in the state. In connection with the proposed procurement, the Directorate is going to organise a pre-NIT and market consultation meeting to seek suggestions from Indian and foreign manufacturers, authorised representatives and stakeholders on technical specifications, eligibility criteria, warranty, delivery schedule and commercial arrangements.
The consultation meeting will be held through video conferencing at 12:30 PM on September 11, 2026. Interested stakeholders wishing to participate will have to register by 05:30 PM on September 10, 2026. For registration and submission of suggestions, applicants may contact the technical email [email protected] with the name of the organisation, name and designation of the representative, email ID and contact number.
The department has clarified that the meeting is being organised solely for finalising the upcoming tender document and obtaining suggestions and information from the industry. It is not a tender, EOI or selection process in itself, nor will participation in the meeting confer any special right on any stakeholder in the future procurement process.
