Shimla:- Rain and snowfall are occurring in most parts of Himachal Pradesh today. Snowfall continues in high altitude areas. Phagu-Kufri road has been closed for traffic due to snowfall. Traffic is also affected due to landslides at Khidki, Chaupal and Kharapthar on Narkanda-Theog-Rohru road. It is raining in Shimla.
Orange alert has been issued for heavy rain and snowfall in many areas today. During the last 24 hours, Gondla recorded 22.0 cm of snowfall, Kukumasery 21.3 cm, Kothi 20.0 cm, Koksar 19.0 cm, Hansa 15.0 cm, Keylong 12.5 cm, Kalpa 5.5 cm, Sangla 1.8 cm and Jot 1.0 cm.
