Una, July 1: Vivek Sharma, MLA of the Kutlehar constituency, attended an idol consecration ceremony as the chief guest today at the Shri Bilvakeshwar Mahadev Temple (Bagh Wala) in Gram Panchayat Rayansari. He inaugurated the Panchvati Park, constructed within the temple premises at a cost of ?14.21 lakh, to facilitate the visiting devotees. He mentioned that ?3 lakh had been spent on constructing a retaining wall and laying flooring within the temple complex.
Vivek Sharma stated that the state government is placing special emphasis on the beautification and maintenance of temples to ensure that visiting devotees do not face any inconvenience. He added that under the able leadership of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, the state government is working with full commitment towards realizing the vision of a self-reliant Himachal. He noted that development works are being continuously accelerated to strengthen basic amenities—including roads, healthcare, drinking water, and irrigation—in the Kutlehar constituency.
The MLA announced a grant of ?2 lakh for the construction of a shed within the temple premises. Earlier, the temple priest, Mahant Mahendra Singh Mankotia, welcomed the chief guest and provided details about the programs being conducted at the temple.
Local residents and dignitaries present on the occasion included Kutlehar Block Congress Committee President Vivek Minka, Zila Parishad member Sumit Sharma, Advocate Vijay Sharma, Vinish Kumar, former General Secretary Ashok Kumar, former Mahila Congress President Urmila, Block Development Officer Rahul Dhiman, JE Prashant Kumar, and Secretary Manoj.
