UGC Law Stay is a Manuist Mindset Against the Right to Social Equality Shammi

Fatehabad, February 3:- Imposing a stay on the UGC law is a Manuist mindset against the fundamental rights of social equality enshrined in the Constitution. It is inexplicable how the Supreme Court, under the pressure of opposition from casteist groups and influenced by a Manuist mindset, has gone back on its own order.
This was stated by Shammi Ratti, the working president of the Scheduled Caste Ambedkar Mahasabha, while addressing the protesters. The protesters had gathered under the joint auspices of the Scheduled Caste Ambedkar Mahasabha and the Backward Classes Welfare Mahasabha to submit a memorandum to the Honorable President through Deputy Commissioner Vivek Bharti, protesting against the Supreme Court's stay on the UGC law and in support of the UGC law. The protesters also held placards with slogans like "We support UGC," and "Implement the Constitution, not the Manuist mindset."
Before submitting the memorandum, Shammi Ratti addressed the protesters and said that those who are protesting are the same people who oppose the country's constitution and have never accepted Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's vision of social equality and a caste-free society. Such people only work to spread anarchy by destroying mutual brotherhood. He demanded that Her Excellency Droupadi Murmu should soon get a law passed in Parliament by the government on this matter so that Dalits and backward classes can get an opportunity to develop with social equality.
On this occasion, Rajbir Soni, Vice President of the Backward Classes Welfare Mahasabha, Dalit activist Surender Indachhoi, Advocate Jile Singh, and others also supported the UGC law and said that those who are opposing the UGC law are opposing the government's decision to provide higher education to Dalit children.
He said that the Supreme Court never wanted Dalit and backward class children to be deprived of higher education, but those who opposed the UGC Act, under pressure from some government leaders with a casteist mindset, somehow managed to impose this restriction.
He said that the government should immediately lift the ban on the UGC law. On this occasion, Janak Atwal, Mahendra Soni, Dr. Ramphal, Har Bhajan Kamboj, Vijay Sarpanch, Suresh Yadav, Joginder Pal, Ashok Kataria, Dr. Prithvi Pal Matana, along with members of the OBC Brigade of the Loktantra Suraksha Party and dignitaries from many social organizations were present.
