The sixday milk langar organized by Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society during SafareShahadat has been completed

Nawanshahr:- The milk langar organized by Guru Nanak Mission Sewa Society during the week of Safar-e-Shahadat, like every year, was started on December 23. It was completed on December 28 with the milk langar organized at Phatti Basta Chowk.
On this occasion, the chief servant of the society, Surjit Singh, said that the milk langar organized during these days is dedicated to the martyrdom of Bhai Moti Ram Mehra's family. Who had fed milk langar to the younger sons of Sarbansdani Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji who were held captive in the custody of Wazir Khan of Sirhind province, despite all the restrictions.
He said that all the family members of Bhai Moti Ram Mehra had to pay the price of this milk when the Sirhind province issued a fatwa to torture his mother, wife and six-year-old son Narayan in Kohlu and martyr them on the charge of feeding milk.
He said that with the cooperation of the local Sangat, this time milk langars were organized on 23rd December at Gu: Charan Kanwal Machhiwara Sahib, on 24th at Gurdwara Gani Khan Nabi Khan Machhiwara Sahib, on 25th at Bahra Engineers Garhshankar Road, on 26th at Municipal Public Park, on 27th at Namdhari Seed Corporation, on 28th at Namdhari Seed Store Phatti Basta Chowk, in which a large number of Sangats attended.
During these services, members of the society including Uttam Singh Sethi, Didar Singh Gahun, Jagjit Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Inderjit Singh Bahra, Bakshish Singh Saini, Gian Singh, Jagjit Singh Bata, Kuljit Singh Khalsa, Mukhwinder Pal Singh, Gurcharan Singh Pabla, Daljit Singh Badwal, Amrik Singh Sethi, Mahinder Pal Chander, Inderjit Sharma, Harvinder Singh, Parminder Singh, Manmohan Singh, Baldev Singh, Ramnik Singh, Haqiqat Singh, Surinder Singh, Rampal Rai and other dignitaries were also present.
