The sevenday NSS camp at Sikh National College Banga successfully concluded
Banga:- The seven-day camp organized by the NSS department of Sikh National College Banga successfully concluded on December 24, 2025. The last session of the camp was presided over by College Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder. While Sarpanch of village Gobindpur Sardar Satpal Singh Logian Ji attended as the chief guest and President of Gurudwara Sahib Sardar Joga Singh attended as the special guest. Along with them, Member Panchayat Sardar Amarjit Singh, Madam Reena Rai, and Gurpreet Kaur also became a part of this event.
The first guests to arrive were welcomed with flowers by the Principal. Addressing the students on this occasion, he appreciated the work done in Gobindpur village as volunteers during the camp in the past and motivated the students to take maximum advantage of the opportunities provided by the NSS department so that the students can contribute to the creation of a healthy society.
Sardar Joga Singh Ji shared his experiences with the students. Sardar Satpal Singh Logian Ji, who was the chief guest, urged the students not to break away from their roots and gave a message to stay away from drugs and expressed hope from the students to stay in Punjab and improve their future by getting quality education.
On this occasion, cultural presentations were also given by Sukhmanvir Singh, Ishmeet Kaur, Harman and Rahul Sharma, Rahul Dugg, Omsi, and Kiranjot, Parthjit Singh shared their experiences. Senior Program Officer Prof. Vipan Ji presented the camp report.
Among the students who participated in the discussions during the entire camp, Sukhmanvir Singh, Praveen Ral, Kiranjot Kaur and Muskan, Aarti and Siddharth were honored in the poster competition and Hansveer, Rahul Dugg, Sukhneet and Navneet Kaur were honored for their excellent performance during the camp. The best volunteer award was given to Rahul (boys) and Manjot Kaur (girls).
Program Officer Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur shared the experiences during the camp and also moderated the stage. On this occasion, Program Officer Tajinder Singh, Prof. Manraj Kaur ji had special support. At the end of the closing ceremony, Prof. Vipan ji informed the volunteers about the upcoming activities of the department and thanked everyone associated with the camp (Dr. Jyoti Prakash, Prof. Manmant Singh, College Superintendent Sardar Paramjit Singh, Sardar Amandeep Singh, Aman Kanda, Navjit Singh).
The guests were honored by presenting mementos. Certificates were issued to the students. Special care was taken for refreshments on this occasion.
