On the past 10th of November, a car bomb exploded in the area of Delhi's Red Fort, nearly a dozen innocent people lost their lives, and quite a few people were seriously injured. Terrorism or the tendency toward sabotage is a mental disorder. It is not limited to any one country or one region; today the entire world is passing through this problem. In today's era, terrorism is a very complex challenge. If we talk about the causes of terrorism, then a section in society that considers itself neglected, people who are victims of oppression or injustice, humans deprived of political rights, adopt this method to fight against their rights or some injustice. Sometimes its cause can also be religious extremism. Some people consider their religion or belief above everything else and think it their duty or God's command to impose their ideology on the rest of the people, and to fulfill this objective, they resort to violence or deadly activities.
Many times, people's economic conditions also become a cause of discontent or rebellion in them. It is somewhat easy to mislead or misguide a poor, unemployed, or illiterate person. A helpless individual is provoked and prepared for deadly actions like sabotage by showing false promises or providing financial benefits. In this way, people fighting for the freedom of their nation or the betterment of their class sometimes also use terrorism as a weapon to draw more people's attention toward their objective. Whatever the reasons may be, in the end, the results of this are destruction and the massacre of innocent, helpless people. Many humans lose their lives, and countless people become disabled for life. Such incidents affect people's mental state for a long time. Eyewitnesses or accident-affected individuals' heirs do not come out of this shock for their entire lives.
Terrorist attacks create a major obstacle in the country's economic development. These incidents are even more damaging for semi-developed and developing countries. The country's infrastructure and businesses are destroyed. A lot of expenditure has to be incurred on internal security. The capital that was supposed to be spent on health, education, and other development works, a large part of it gets spent on the security system or reconstruction. Instability arises in the market, and terrorist incidents create a sense of insecurity among the public. People's trust in the government and governmental system weakens. This leads to racial discrimination and social divides. The most damage is to human rights. To stop this terrorism, governments often commit excesses on innocent people in the name of strictness, which is clearly a massacre of human rights. Many times, such laws are made that suppress the voice of the public, where there is no opportunity for appeal or argument. Anyway, the entire world is affected by terrorist incidents, but if we talk about India, then terrorism has badly affected Jammu and Kashmir in the north-west, north-east, and some parts of central and southern India. In the past few decades, thousands of people in India have fallen into the mouth of death in such incidents. The country has also suffered a lot of economic damage.
Governments of the times have always been striving for an effective solution to this calamity. Vigilance has been increased on borders with ultra-modern techniques. Governments always remain alert to strengthen the internal security structure. It is true that eliminating evil is easy in the beginning, so stopping terrorist funding streams, arranging good reform and rehabilitation for misguided youth sections, can be effective steps. Political patronage for personal and narrow interests should also stop. Apart from this, there is a need for ordinary people to be more vigilant and loyal to their duties. Terrorism is not a solution to any problem, rather it is the mother of difficulties that will happen someday.
