SIR2026 September 12 Is the Last Date to File Claims and Objections

Derabassi (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), September 11:- As per the directions of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Ms. Komal Mittal, IAS, the third phase of voter list revision under the Special Intensive Revision-2026, during which claims and objections are being received, is underway from August 13 to September 12, 2026.
SDM-cum-ERO, 112-Derabassi, Mr. Amit Gupta, said that the claims and objections being received from the public during this phase are to be disposed of by October 8, 2026. In this regard, weekly lists related to Forms No. 6, 7 and 8 are being provided to the recognized political parties in the Assembly constituency in Forms No. 9, 10, 11 and 11-A for their information and verification.
He said that weekly meetings are also being held with all recognized political parties, during which necessary information related to claims and objections is being shared so that the process of revision of voter lists can be completed in a transparent and impartial manner.
