Sikh National College Banga releases annual edition of magazine Charan Kanwal 202526

Banga/Nawanshahr:- The annual edition of the prestigious college magazine **‘Charan Kanwal 2025–26’** of Sikh National College, Banga was formally released during a function organized on 26th June 2026.
The magazine was inaugurated by Sikh Human Development Foundation Executive Director S. Gurbir Singh Brar as the chief guest, while Sikh Educational Society (SES) Joint Secretary S. Karandeep Singh Cheema attended as the special guest. On this occasion, Local Managing Committee Secretary S. Jarnail Singh Palli Jhikki, College Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh, Dr. Indu Ratti, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma and members of the Editorial Board were also present.
Addressing the function, Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh said that **‘Charan Kanwal’** is a reflection of the academic excellence, literary creativity and institutional achievements of the college. He said that this magazine is an important medium to showcase the creative thinking of the students and various activities of the institution.
Editor-in-Chief Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma said that the academic, cultural, sports, research and extension activities of the college have been documented in the magazine. Along with this, it also provides a suitable platform for the students and teachers to showcase their literary talent.
Chief Guest S. Gurbir Singh Brar appreciated the efforts of the editorial team and said that such publications not only encourage creativity and critical thinking, but also play an important role in preserving the heritage of the institution.
Special Guest S. Karandeep Singh Cheema congratulated the college for promoting the spirit of literary and intellectual exploration among the students.
Staff Editors on this occasion included Prof. Abid Waqar, Dr. Kamaldeep Kaur, Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur, Prof. Manmant Singh, Prof. Kishore Kumar, Prof. Tajinder Singh and Mr. Sandeep Nayyar were also present.
