Second AntiDrug Awareness Flag March Begins from Baradari Gardens Patiala
Patiala, 9 September:- In support of the Punjab Government’s “War Against Drugs” campaign, the awareness drive was given further momentum under the leadership of Baradari Gardens Coordinator Jaswant Singh Kauli, Sacha Da Khanda coordinator Gurpiar Singh, Anshik Bhatia, Anju Sharma and Coach Gurpreet Singh. The youth from Thapar College, Modi College and Rajindra Hospital gathered at Baradari Gardens and took a pledge that they would stay away from all kinds of drugs, would never consume them and would also discourage others from consuming drugs.
Coordinator Jaswant Singh Kauli sensitised the children in a systematic manner through his experience regarding their bright future and the responsibility of steering the country. The children expressed their confidence in these views. The reins of the country are in the hands of today’s youth. Therefore, the second flag march was taken out inside and outside Baradari Gardens, which received a good response from the public.
On this occasion, Principal Nirmaljit Kaur, Paramjit Singh, Joginder Singh Tulli, Pawanjit Kaur, Jagtar Singh Tari, Ranjit Kaur, Prabhmeet Singh and others were present.
