ADC Cancels Licence of Elegant Immigration Services Firm

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 09 September:- Exercising the powers conferred under the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Smt. Geetika Singh has cancelled the licence of the firm Elegant Immigration Services.
The Additional District Magistrate said that licence number 464/IC dated 10.11.2021 was issued to Mr. Deepak, son of Mr. Charanjit Singh, resident of Sant Hazara Singh Nagar, Sanaur Road, Patiala, owner of firm Elegant Immigration Services, SCO No. 20, Second Floor, Sector-82, Janata Industrial Estate, Mohali, for consultancy work. The validity of the licence is up to 09.11.2026.
The ADC said that the firm had been asked to submit monthly self-declaration forms and send reports on a half-yearly basis, but no report has been received from the firm so far. By doing so, the applicant has completely violated the provisions of the Act/Rules.
Giving information, the ADC said that under the provisions of Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act, 2012, the licence No. 464/IC dated 10.11.2021 issued to firm Elegant Immigration Services has been cancelled/revoked with immediate effect.
In addition, as provided under the Act/Rules, if any complaint is received in future against the said applicant/firm/owner of the firm, the applicant/firm/owner of the firm will himself be responsible in every respect for making good the loss arising therefrom.
