Sant Samaj praises Bhagwant Singh Mann government for excellent arrangements on the occasion of 649th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji

Hoshiarpur:- Sant Samaj launches year-long events dedicated to Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji Impressed by the elaborate arrangements made to celebrate the 649th Parkash Purb on a large scale with devotion and respect, he praised the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for this noble work.
Addressing the congregation during the state-level function dedicated to the 649th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji, Sant Nirmal Das Ji Jodewale said that the Guru Ravidas Ji Sadhu Samparda Society, Punjab Government especially congratulates the Chief Minister for making extensive arrangements. He specially thanked the Chief Minister on behalf of the entire Sant Samaj for the events dedicated to the Parkash Purb. He said that Guru Ji spent more than four years of devotion at Khuralgarh and made this place a part of it. He said that it is a matter of great pride that the Punjab Government is celebrating the 649th Parkash Purb on this land today with full devotion and respect.
Sant Pradeep Das Ji from Dera Ballan said in his address that today is a historic day because on the occasion of the Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, the Chief Minister along with the entire cabinet and MPs has reached Khuralgarh to pay homage and respect. He said that it is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that the Punjab Government has provided 10 acres of land near Dera Ballan to establish the Sri Guru Ravidas Ji Bani Study Center, for which he is grateful to the government. He appreciated the Punjab Government for these initiatives which will be very helpful in maintaining the glorious legacy of Sri Guru Ravidas Ji.
Meanwhile, in his address, Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the Punjab Government has outlined a series of events to be held throughout the year to celebrate the upcoming 650th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji with religious fervor, which has started today. He said that as part of these events, the great teachings of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji will be conveyed to every corner of the country and the world. Harpal Cheema said that the Chief Minister has formed a Cabinet Sub-Committee for these events, the leadership of which has been entrusted to him and he will discharge his responsibility with full dedication.
Earlier, Cabinet Minister Tarunpreet Singh Saund also welcomed the congregation and said that the Punjab government is committed to passing on the glorious heritage of the state to the coming generations.
Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha Jai Kishan Rori expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister for initiating the year-long celebrations on the occasion of the 649th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji from the holy land of Sri Khuralgarh Sahib. He said that this holy place is located in his Vidhan Sabha constituency Garhshankar.
Earlier, the Chief Minister and the entire Cabinet prayed for the welfare of all after the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib in congregation. The Chief Minister and the Cabinet also paid obeisance at the auspicious place of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji.
