Route Chart Issued for Domestic Gas Supply in the District

Una, March 18 — District Magistrate Jatin Lal, acting under the directives of the Himachal Pradesh Department of Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, has issued a detailed route chart for all gas agencies to ensure the smooth and timely supply of domestic LPG cylinders within the district. The objective is to make gas available to consumers—both at designated focal points and at their doorsteps—without any inconvenience, and to protect them from falling prey to rumors.
The District Administration has issued strict instructions to all gas agencies and distributors to adhere rigorously to the prescribed route chart. Furthermore, it has been made mandatory to make announcements regarding the supply via loudspeakers mounted on the distribution vehicles. Should it become impossible to follow the route chart for any reason (such as a disruption in supply from the bottling plant or administrative difficulties), the concerned Gram Panchayat and Food Inspector must be informed in a timely manner.
It has also been made mandatory for distributors to carry weighing scales and gas leakage detectors in their vehicles, and to issue a proper cash memo to every consumer. A warning has been issued that strict action will be taken against anyone found violating the route chart.
According to the issued supply plan, the district's major gas agencies—such as Kamal Gas Agency (Una), Bangana Gas Agency, Shaheed Sunil Gas Service (Gagret), Panjavar Gas Service, Sugam Gas Service (Rakkad Colony), Himachal Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation (Amb and Mehatpur), Deepak Gas Service (Santoshgarh), and others—will supply gas to designated areas on specific days of the week. For most agencies, Monday or Sunday has been designated as a holiday, while on the remaining days, supplies will be ensured across various villages, residential colonies, and towns.
Some agencies will also provide supplies based on bookings to ensure that gas is made available to consumers in accordance with demand. The administration has further clarified that, through regular monitoring, it will be ensured that no consumer faces any delay or difficulty in receiving their gas supply.
The District Administration has appealed to the citizens to receive their gas supplies strictly in accordance with the prescribed route chart and to disregard any misleading information or rumors. Additionally, it has been advised to contact the concerned agency or administration in the event of any problem.
