Rotarian Late Chandra Kantas Birthday Observed

Ambala, September 7:- Former President of Rotary Club and currently Director of Rotary Club Industrial Ambala, Satpal Grover, and his family, in collaboration with Rotary Club and Bharat Vikas Parishad (Vivek Branch), observed the birthday of late Rotarian Chandra Kanta Grover at Hotel Mohan Vilas in the city with great devotion and respect. On the occasion, the late Chandra Kanta was remembered for her kind nature and her contribution to the projects of Rotary Club.
The programme began with a devotional song presented by renowned singer and daughter-in-law of the Grover family, Radhika Grover. Thereafter, former President and Rotary Zonal Trainer Shashi Gulati presented a mournful song. Club Managing Secretary Anita Kapoor, President Dixit Kapoor, senior-most journalist Suman Bhatnagar, Principal Dr. Anupama Arya, former Rotary Assistant Governor Dr. Rattan Singh Dhillon, Ashok Kakkar of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Women President Sunita Verma, and the granddaughter of Satpal Sehgal, who had come from Mumbai, spoke with great emotion about their memories of her.
In the end, Rotarian Satpal Grover emotionally shared memories of his late wife and described her as the inspiration of his life, saying that the two shared a deep spiritual bond. Several prominent people from the city were present to pay tributes to late Chandra Kanta Grover on her birthday. Those present included former Rotary Assistant Governor Dharam Pal Gulati, Secretary Anil Sehgal, Mrs. Seema Mahindru, recipient of the National Teachers Award, who specially came from Chandigarh, Principal of PKR Jain Vatika School Mini Sapra, Senior Editor Harinder Gulati and others.
