Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Bathinda Expresses Grief Over the Demise of Dharmpal Upashak

Bathinda: The office-bearers, executive committee members, and general members of the Punjabi Sahitya Sabha (Regd.), Bathinda, have expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the renowned litterateur Dharmpal Upashak. Expressing regret over the loss of their fellow writer, the Sabha's President Jaspal Mankhera, Patron Gurdev Khokhar, and General Secretary Ranjeet Gaurav noted that Upashak was a multi-faceted writer and man of letters who was also deeply involved in journalism and social activism.
Among those who conveyed their heartfelt condolences to Dharmpal’s daughter, Anita Shabdish, and son-in-law, the playwright Shabdish, were Balwinder Bhullar, Dilbag Singh, Agazveer, Harbans Lal Garg, Ramesh Garg, Aman Datewas, Ranbir Rana, Damjit Darshan, Lachhman Maluka, Ravinder Singh Sandhu, and Bhola Singh Samiria.
Members of the Sabha's advisory board—Principal Amarjit Singh Sidhu, Amar Singh Sidhu, Harbans Singh Brar, Pawan Kumar Jindal, and Gopal Singh Kotfatta—also shared their condolences with Upashak's family.
