Hoshiarpur- The incident of a Hindu youth sitting at a roadside dhaba to eat in Kotri city of Sindh province of Pakistan has sparked a discussion. Former MP Avinash Rai Khanna has expressed serious concern and regret over this incident.
Khanna said that the atrocities against minority communities in Pakistan are not a new thing, but from the beginning they are being targeted with the connivance of the Pakistani government and extremists.
Khanna has demanded in a letter to Union External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar that this matter be brought before the Pakistani government with a strong voice and the culprits be immediately punished, so that such incidents can be prevented in the future.
He said that the minorities living in Pakistan now have only hope from the Indian government. Khanna appealed for strong dialogue with the Pakistani government to prevent such atrocities from happening in the future.
