Nawanshahr:- Today, on the occasion of the 33rd death anniversary of Sangha, Shaheed Master Gian Singh Sangha Memorial Committee and Democratic Teachers Front organized a painting competition and beautiful handwriting competition for children in memory of Sangha Ji at Shahab Pur village near Nawanshahr. In which 464 children from 26 schools participated. In the first category of the painting competition, Navjot Walia Government Senior Secondary School Sardoa First, Harjot Singh Government Senior Secondary School Langroa Second, Hartej Singh School of Eminence Nawanshahr Third and Jaspreet Singh School of Eminence Nawanshahr came in fourth place.
In the second category of the painting competition, Natish Chumbar RMB DAV Public School Nawanshahr first, Jasneet Kaur School of Eminence Nawanshahr second, Inderpreet Kaur Scholar Public School Jadla third, Kirandeep Kaur Scholar Public School Jadla fourth came. In the third category of the painting competition, Sahibjot Singh Scholar Public School Jadla first, Davinder Kumar second, Ekam Preet Kaur PS Public School Raho third and Ane Presidency School Raho fourth.
In the fourth category of the painting competition, Jaspreet Kaur PS Public School Raho first Naman Sir Mukalif School Mohali second, Ramit Oriental Public School Samundra third, Ritika Rani YSRM Adarsh ??Public School Jadla fourth. In the beautiful writing competition, Bhumi Sharma School of Eminence Nawanshahr stood first, Priya Kumari School of Eminence second, Manila Kandulna School of Eminence Nawanshahr third, Avantika Sood stood fourth.
In the third category of beautiful writing, Lovepreet Kaur Government High School Bheen first, Shalni School of Eminence Nawanshahr second, Sandhya Government Senior Secondary School Dhamai third, Priyanka Kumari School of Eminence Nawanshahr stood fourth. In the fourth category of beautiful writing, Anurit Kaur Mann Scholar Public School first, Jasmin Kaur Happy Model School Rahon second, Arshdeep Kaur Happy Model School Raho third and Rakesh Kumar Happy Model School Raho fourth.
On this occasion, quiz competitions were also organized for children. Its topic was Jallianwala Bagh and Quiz Master Balbir Kumar. The judges of the competition were Master Shadi Ram, Shangara Singh, Mrs. Mohan Kaur, Bagicha Singh Sahungra. The prizes were distributed to the winning children by Daljit Singh Advocate, Jasbir Deep, Balbir Singh Sangha, Bhupinder Singh Waraich, Dilbagh Singh Retired District Education Officer, Balbir Kumar Harninder Singh Atwal and Kuldeep Singh Jethu Majara.
