Monthly meeting of Pensioner Welfare Association SubTehsil Mahilpur was held

Hoshiarpur:- The monthly meeting of Pensioner Welfare Association Sub-Tehsil Mahilpur was held at Mahilpur under the leadership of Principal Piara Singh Sarprast, General Secretary Makhan Singh, Treasurer Babu Om Dutt, Jai Ram Barian, Principal Lehmber Ram, and Baldev Singh Dhakon. In the meeting, the pensioner leaders said during their address that the Punjab government has adopted a policy of delay towards the demands of the pensioners, including 2.59 multiplier for pensioners, outstanding installments of dearness allowance, lump sum arrears of pay commission and many other legitimate and legitimate demands.
Principal Mohan Singh and Principal Surjit Singh said that the Punjab government repeatedly cancels the meeting on the spot after giving the time for the meeting. Due to which the anti-pensioner face of the Punjab government has come to the fore. Pensioner leaders criticized the Punjab government as well as the Modi government at the center for being pro-corporate and the leaders said that the government, which stopped pension for employees recruited after 2004, is now making dirty moves to delink dearness allowance from the retirement of employees recruited before 2004. Which will not be allowed to succeed at any cost.
On this occasion, the leaders said that like every year, this year too, the district committee will honor pensioners above eighty years of age on December 17 at Prabhat Chowk, Hoshiarpur, near Bharat Palace.
On this occasion, a large number of pensioners including Joginder Singh, Mohan Singh, Ram Saroop, Varinder Sharma Bharta, Lehmber Singh, Sohan Lal, Amarjit Singh, Tarsem Lal, Hansraj, Ram Asra, Shinder Pal, Rajinder Singh, Principal Jarnail Singh, Giani Tara Singh, Tehal Singh, Baba Gurdev Chand, Davinder Singh Dandiya, Jarnail Singh etc. were present.
