Karnal, October 14: Nilokheri MLA Bhagwandas Kabirpanthi today inaugurated development projects worth over ?2.15 crore. He stated that the completion of these projects will provide the city with a clean, beautiful, and green environment. He also urged residents to adopt cleanliness as a habit. MLA Bhagwandas inaugurated the scientific disposal of garbage from the poultry area of Ward 7 to the dumping ground. This project will cost ?90 lakh. After the disposal, 7,500 square meters of land will be leveled. The waste will be segregated through a plant. A work order has been issued for this project. Residents living near the dumping ground have long been troubled by the polluted environment. Once this work is completed, they will be relieved of this problem.
Mr. Kabirpanthi also inaugurated the beautification and renovation of over 20 parks in the city. This project, to be completed within six months, will cost more than ?11 million. He also inaugurated the construction of a fountain to be installed in Gol Market, costing ?15 lakh.
On this occasion, the MLA stated his commitment to the development of his constituency. He said no effort will be spared to provide basic amenities to the people. Everyone should contribute to making the city beautiful and clean. He stated that no campaign can succeed without public participation. Cleanliness should become a habit.
