Meeting with Tehsildar Lavdeep Singh Dhoot for eye donation awareness

Garhshankar:- Today a meeting was organized by Rotary Eye Bank and Corneal Transplant Society with Tehsildar S. Lavdeep Singh Dhoot Garhshankar at his office regarding awareness about eye donation.
In this meeting Dr. Tarsem Singh (Chairman Body Donation Committee), Dr. Lakhwinder Kumar (President Garhshankar Unit), Okar Singh Chahalpuri (Secretary), Bhupinder Singh (General Secretary), Rajan Mallhan (Cashier), Ramandeep Singh (Press Secretary), Krisham Pal Retired Superintendent (Motivator), Happy Sarpanch Sadhowal (Raju Brothers Welfare Society), Ravinder Singh (Kanungo), Harpreet Pal (Patwari) and others were also present.
Tehsildar Lavdeep Singh Dhoot Ji was given information about eye donation by Dr. Tarsem Singh and the whole team and it was told that the organization has so far transplanted corneas of 4173 people and 34 bodies have been sent to medical colleges.
Shri Lavdeep Singh Dhoot Tehsildar Sahib appreciated the work of the organization and said that he will cooperate in conveying the message of the organization to the people in meetings of Lambardars and Patwaris in various villages.
