Meeting of Class Four Union regarding the demands of antilarva workers demand for action from the Health Minister
Patiala 29 December:- The meeting of the Health Department Punjab Anti-Larva (Breeding Checker) of the Class Four Government Employees Union Punjab (1680) was held at the Union Office Rajpura Colony. The meeting was presided over by President Amarnath. The meeting was specially attended by the State President Sathi Darshan Singh Lubana.
The meeting of the Anti-Larva (Breeding Checker) workers of the Health Department was held on 22 December with the Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh Ji at the Punjab Civil Secretariat, Chandigarh.
During the meeting, half a dozen demands were discussed and the Minister assured to implement the demands sympathetically, mainly including the discontinuation of breaks being given during the year, increase in minimum wages, registration against vacant posts, release of salaries through bank accounts, making identity cards, implementation of the decision of the Honorable Supreme Court, regularization of issues etc.
The Minister assured to implement the demands. While thanking the Health Minister in the meeting, he demanded that the discussed demands be implemented soon so that the workers can get relief and the process of adjusting against vacant posts should be started after the minimum wage of Rs. 25000/- is implemented.
Other members from different districts who attended today's meeting included Sarv Sri Satnarayan Goni, Swaran Singh, Amarnath, Varinder Singh Patiala, Avtar Singh Sangrur, Harcharan Singh Muktsar, Satwinder Singh Mohali, Baldev Singh Ludhiana, Jaswinder Singh Bathinda, etc.
