Ludhiana:- Ludhiana Police has announced a cash reward of Rs 20,000 for information leading to the arrest of the accused in the brutal murder of a nine-year-old child in the city. On February 7, Aman's body was found in the bushes near a vacant plot in Kasabad area. His throat was slit. A case of murder was registered against an unidentified person. Two days after the body was found, the police identified the accused as Ajay, a resident of Kasabad.
'Wanted' posters of the accused have been put up at various places.
The accused has previously been named in several criminal cases. In 2020, a case was registered against him at Jodhewal police station for raping a seven-year-old girl. In that case, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
