Ratia, February 22: Lok Chetna Manch Haryana organized an award ceremony for four gold medalists from Ratia in various sports at the Government Model Sanskrit Senior Secondary School, Ratia, under the leadership of the Forum's Chairman, Dr. Naib Singh Mander. Gold medalists Bharti Chauhan (walk race), Sonia Nagar (kabaddi), Arman Singh (200 meter race), and Vijay (disc throw) were honored with the "Bapu Gurbachan Singh Mander Award," a symbol of Punjabi heritage, for winning gold medals. The winners were presented with mementos and certificates of appreciation.
Welcoming the ceremony, the Forum's Chairman, Dr. Naib Singh Mander, said that the children of Ratia have once again demonstrated their abilities in the fields of sports and education, performing exceptionally well in the competition held in Lucknow. It is our responsibility to honor these talented individuals who returned from Lucknow with four gold medals through the Lok Chetna Manch (Lok Chetna Manch). He stated that despite limited resources, winning gold medals at the national level is a matter of pride.
Manch President Captain Gurmukh Singh Bhullar said, "I am happy that children in this region are also achieving glory by participating in sports." Raghuveer Singh Nagar, Director and Coach of Nagar Academy, expressed his gratitude, saying, "We have received blessings and inspiration, which has increased our responsibility." In his address, social worker Sharma Chand Lali praised the honor bestowed upon the players by Lok Chetna Manch Haryana.
Surjeet Singh Shimlapuri, Happy Singh Sethi, and Jasvir Singh Thacker said that the organization's primary objective is to boost the morale of the children who won gold medals in various competitions held in Lucknow and to raise awareness about sports and education in the community. The Manch members remarked that through their hard work and dedication, these children have brought glory not only to their parents but also to the entire Ratia region at the state level.
