Livasa Hospital Launches Special OPD in Faridkot

Faridkot: Livasa Hospital, Amritsar, announced on Saturday the launch of a special OPD at Deep Hospital, Faridkot. This special OPD will be held every Sunday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Dr. Sukhpal Singh Mann, Senior Consultant in Orthopedics and Joint Replacement, will be available at the OPD to address knee and joint-related issues.
Dr. Mann stated that the initiative aims to improve access to advanced orthopedic care, particularly for patients suffering from severe knee arthritis, chronic knee pain, mobility issues, and deformities—patients who may be suitable candidates for robotic-assisted knee replacement.
He further explained that robotic-assisted knee replacement utilizes advanced technology and surgical planning, enabling orthopedic surgeons to achieve precise bone preparation and accurate implant positioning. He noted that this method facilitates detailed pre-operative planning and allows for the formulation of a surgical strategy tailored to the patient's specific anatomy.
