Khi School Girls Take Pledge to Maintain Cleanliness

Ratia, September 11:- At Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Khai, the girl students took a pledge to promote cleanliness and voluntary community service with the objective of maintaining environmental purity and an efficient cleanliness system. Under the leadership of Hindi lecturer Sunita Monga, the students took an oath that they would contribute at least 100 hours of voluntary service every year and actively contribute to keeping their surroundings clean.
On this occasion, school principal Avnish Garg said that environmental cleanliness is extremely important for human life. A clean environment not only contributes to better health but also promotes positive thinking in society.
Literary figure Dr. Naib Singh Mander said that it is the responsibility of every individual to remain aware of the need to maintain cleanliness of the mind, body, thoughts and the surroundings. He urged the students to make cleanliness a part of their daily lives.
On the occasion, lecturers Charanjit Singh, Sonu Garg and Ghanshyam, warden Maheshi, Sheenu Rani, Sarita, Rupinder Kaur, Seema Rani, Nisha Rani, Preet Kaur and Ravinder, along with other school staff, were present.
