Khelo India Samvad Khel Ki Baat PM Ke Saath Program Successfully Organized

Chandigarh, August 27:- Under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India and Mera Yuva Bharat, the 'Khelo India Samvad - Khel Ki Baat, PM Ke Saath' program was organized at Dyal Singh College and Government College, Karnal with the aim of connecting the youth with sports, promoting sports culture and keeping them away from drugs. About 500 youth and participants participated enthusiastically in the program and watched and listened to the youth dialogue and address of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Giving information about this, an official spokesperson said that through his address, the Prime Minister called upon the youth of the country to be more and more attracted towards sports, make the spirit of sports a part of life and contribute to the construction of a healthy, disciplined and developed India by staying away from social evils like drugs. During the program, the youth also presented their views and suggestions on various topics related to sports and youth development. These include improving the country's sports environment, nurturing and developing talents for the 2036 Olympic Games, promoting youth participation in youth leadership and governance, empowering youth for building a developed India, drug-free youth - developed India. The youth made important suggestions on expansion of sports facilities, identification of sports talents at the rural and grassroots level, better training and coaching facilities, greater participation of youth in sports and youth leadership against drugs.

Youth Interaction with Sportspersons
To make the program more inspiring, the youth participants also interacted with two emerging sports talents - Aashi Kashyap (Lawn Tennis) and Angel Rana Cycling. Both the players shared their sports experience, struggle, discipline, fitness and journey of success with the youth and inspired the youth to adopt sports as a career and lifestyle.
The spokesperson said that 'Khelo India Samvad - Khel Ki Baat, PM Ke Saath' is an important platform to directly connect the youth with the country's sports future and nation building. He said that the five topics of the program are directly related to the future of the youth and the ideas presented by the youth can provide important direction for India's sports and youth policy. He called upon the youth to engage in sports, stay away from drugs and become a part of building a developed India. At the end of the program, the participating youth took a pledge to make sports a part of life, stay away from drugs and ensure active youth participation in building a developed India.
