K Makarand Pandurang Appointed as OfficerinCharge of Charkhi Dadri District
Chandigarh, September 10:- The Haryana Government has appointed Shri K. Makarand Pandurang, Commissioner and Secretary of the Department of Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture and the Department of Mines and Geology, and Chief Executive Officer of the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority, as the Officer-in-Charge of Charkhi Dadri district in addition to his existing responsibilities.
In this regard, orders have been issued by Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Rastogi.
As per the revised feedback mechanism, Shri K. Makarand Pandurang will submit feedback to the Monitoring and Coordination Cell every quarter. This will include a review of projects costing Rs 25 crore or more, the overall crime situation and incidents of serious crimes, vigilance cases, the effectiveness of the service delivery system under the Right to Service Act, and the functioning of the health, education and social sectors.
He will also review the bottlenecks faced by the DETC in matters related to taxes, GST and other related issues. In addition, he may interact with MLAs and other public representatives in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police, and may also visit an important site related to either the Health or Education Department.
