Janmashtami celebrated with great pomp and fervor at Shri Laxman Chautra Temple

Hansi, September 05:- The festival of Janmashtami was celebrated with immense devotion and enthusiasm at the pilgrimage site Temple Shri Laxman Chautra. On this occasion, the temple premises were attractively decorated, and several enchanting tableaux depicting the life of Lord Krishna were prepared. Devotees thronged the temple until late at night.
The program was inaugurated by special guest and BJP Mandal President Tanuj Khurana by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Temple administrator Mahant Madhav Bawa shared that on the occasion of Janmashtami, various attractive tableaux related to the child form of Lord Krishna, including Bal Gopal in a basket, were created, which served as a major attraction for devotees.
At midnight, the celebration of Lord Krishna's birth was organized. Following this, the ceremonial bath (panchamrit abhishekam) of Thakur Ji was performed, along with formal prayers and rituals. The atmosphere in the temple premises became filled with devotion echoing with chants.
Devotional singer Sakshi Bawa performed melodious bhajans during the event. Devotees danced with joy to her renditions of bhajans such as 'Bhayo Sare Braj Mein Shor, Govind Gokul Aayo' and 'Aaj Mathura De Vich Avtaar Ho Gaya', among others. Meanwhile, Bakshi Lal Thakral and Sunil Papneja portrayed the role of Nand Baba.
MLA Vinod Bhayana was the chief guest of the event, while BJP Mandal President Tanuj Khurana presided over it. Advocate Surendra Rajpal, Dinkar Gawri, Ajay Mehta, Nitin Munjal, Jassi Makkar, Gulshan Kapoor, Bharat Bhushan Mehta, Sunil Papneja, Rahul Sapra, Amit Vasudeva, Satish Khurana, and numerous other devotees were present.
