Issue of fake registries echoed in Grievance Redressal Committee meeting

Karnal, 26 August- A monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee was held at Panchayat Bhawan under the chairmanship of Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana. In the meeting, 7 out of 12 complaints were resolved on the spot, while instructions were given to get 5 cases re-investigated by senior officials. The Minister said that the aim of the state government is to quickly resolve the problems of common people and officers should take complaints seriously.
In the meeting, instructions were given to remove encroachments in cases of illegal encroachment on Panchayati land. On complaint of non-payment of salary, it was asked to ensure payment as per minimum wages. In the case of Municipal Corporation taking out road from plot of Sector-7 resident Vijay Kumar, instructions were given to present report in the next meeting. On complaint related to Sector-43, orders were given to ADC for re-investigation.
On the complaint of Lovepreet Singh, resident of Nissing, about illegal encroachment on Panchayati land, demarcation was asked and report was sought. In the case of alleged fake registry of land of Gurmeet Singh, resident of Assandh, Tehsildar told that FIR has been registered against the accused and they have been taken into police custody. The Minister gave instructions to issue notice for cancellation of registry and take necessary action. In the case of fake registry of land of Sunita, resident of Bhalsi, also orders for investigation were given. In the case of compensation related to mining, instructions were given to present documents and get proper compensation.
In interaction with journalists after the meeting, the Minister said that the government has sufficient stock of sugar and if needed, sugar can be procured from outside. He said that sugar prices will not be allowed to increase. Informing that Assembly session will start from 27 August, he expressed hope for positive atmosphere.
He informed about placing problems of rice millers before Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. On strike of sanitation workers, he said that employees should keep performing duty while putting forth their point and responsibility of Swachh Bharat is everyone's.
The Minister claimed that in coming time, BJP government will be formed in Punjab. In the meeting, MLA Ramkumar Kashyap, Jagmohan Anand, Yogendra Rana, BJP District President Praveen Lathar, Mayor Renu Bala Gupta along with administrative officers and committee members were present.
