ISIS terrorist arrested in Bhopal
Bhopal:- The Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested a terrorist associated with ISIS from Bhopal's Kroond. Another terrorist was also caught in Delhi's Sadiq Nagar. Together, they were planning to detonate IEDs in crowded areas of Delhi.
Police officials said that the two terrorists, identified as Adnan, were being trained for suicide attacks and their target was Delhi. Suspicious materials have also been recovered from the terrorists. Currently, the Special Cell of Delhi Police is interrogating them.
According to the police, the group was looking for places where they could purchase land and set up a base for their activities. They were also collecting money to manufacture weapons.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested Adnan from house number A-46, Indus Regency, in Bhopal's Nishatpura police station area at 4 am on October 18. Books related to religious extremism were also found in his room.
The police also seized his laptop. Adnan had also created a fake Instagram ID using Khilji's name.
