Independence Day was celebrated at Sikh National College Banga

Banga:- Independence Day was celebrated at Sikh National College Banga by the NCC and NSS department dedicated to the spirit of patriotism and national unity under the leadership of Principal Dr. Indu Ratti Ji. The function was led by NCC Wing In-charge Dr. Gurvinder Singh and NSS In-charge Professor Vipan and Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur.
On this occasion, the Principal of the college Dr. Indu Ratti performed the flag hoisting ceremony. Addressing the students, he made them aware of the importance of Independence Day.
He said that the country's independence is the result of the sacrifices of countless freedom fighters. It is the duty of the young generation to understand their responsibility for the unity, integrity and progress of the country and serve the country as a good citizen. He motivated the students to strengthen the spirit of love for the country, discipline, social responsibility and mutual brotherhood. NCC and NSS students also participated enthusiastically in the event and gave a message of patriotism and national unity. He praised the in-charges and students of NCC and NSS departments and said that such events play an important role in instilling a sense of responsibility and service towards the country among the students. On this occasion, Dr. Sunidhi Miglani, Dr. Kamaldeep Kaur, Dr. Jyoti Prakash, Librarian Manmant Singh, Okar Sidhu, Navjit Singh and volunteer students were present.
