Historic ThreeDay Vaman Dwadashi Fair of Ambala from September 21

Ambala, September 16:- The historic and religious Vaman Dwadashi Fair, organised every year by Sanatan Dharma Sabha, Ambala City, will be held from September 21 to September 23, 2026. In connection with the fair, office-bearers of the Sabha held a press conference at GRSD School in Ambala City today and provided information about the event. Vinod Bansal, Mukesh Singhal, Kulbhushan Goyal, Mukesh Jindal, Himanshu Aggarwal, Arpit Aggarwal, Anit Bindal and other office-bearers and members of the Sabha were present at the press conference.
Sabha President and Fair Coordinator Naresh Aggarwal said that this historic fair, organised in the sacred memory of Lord Vaman, is an important part of Ambala City's religious and cultural identity. He said all preparations for the successful organisation of the fair have been completed and special arrangements are being made for the convenience of devotees. He said that on September 21, former minister Asim Goyal Thakur would inaugurate the fair by lifting the Jhula from the temple. Thereafter, the Jhulas would proceed in a procession from Shri Radha Krishna Temple, Kalal Majri Temple, and Khera and Nauharia temples to the Old Grain Market. During this, students from different schools would present bands, devotional songs and cultural programmes.
Fair Coordinator Arvind Aggarwal (Lucky) said that Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini would attend the fair as the chief guest at 8 p.m. on September 21, while Haryana Government's Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Bedi would be the chief guest on September 22. Former minister Asim Goyal would preside over the programmes on both days. A special series of religious and cultural programmes would be organised during the fair. Renowned Punjabi singer Gulab Sidhu would perform on September 21, while internationally acclaimed bhajan singer Gaura Mani would enthral devotees with her melodious bhajans on September 22. Fireworks (light display) would also be held on both days. He further said that on September 23 at 1 p.m., former minister Asim Goyal would inaugurate a grand procession by lifting the Jhula.
