Heavy Footfall at Manupur Punjabi Public Library as Readers Embrace Books

Manupur, October 13:- The Punjabi Public Library, Manupur, being run with the support of Punjabi Sahitya Sabha (New Delhi), once again witnessed great enthusiasm for reading and writing. On this day, recorded under File No. 162, children, young people and general readers from the village visited the library in large numbers and had books of their choice issued to them.
Library volunteer Kulwinder Singh Manupuri said that the growing interest in books among students, particularly those from Class 5 to Class 12, is highly encouraging. The children are taking books home and benefiting from reading them.
He said that the main objective of the library is to connect every child of Manupur with books, inspire every young person to make education a companion in life, and take the message of knowledge to every household.
"A book is a companion that gives knowledge without speaking and bestows the gift of thought," he said.
In the end, he prayed before the Almighty that these young readers may study, learn and bring honour to their parents, village Manupur and Punjab.
