Chandigarh, March 5- Haryana Rajya Sabha Returning Officer for the biennial elections Mr. Pankaj Agarwal informed that three nomination papers have been received today for the Rajya Sabha elections to be held on March 16. He said that the last date for filing nominations was today, while the scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on March 6.
Mr. Agarwal said that Mr. Sanjay Bhatia from the Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. Karamveer Singh Boudh from the Indian National Congress and Mr. Satish Nandal as an independent candidate have filed their nomination papers.
He further said that the candidates can withdraw their nominations till March 9. If necessary, the election will be held on March 16, 2026 from 9 am to 4 pm in the committee room of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha Secretariat.
