Guru Sahib considered the protection of truth as his religion Modi

Kurukshetra:- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today released a special coin and commemorative postage stamp here on the occasion of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. He said that Guru Tegh Bahadur considered the protection of truth, justice and faith as his religion and sacrificed his life for it. Mr. Modi was addressing a special function organized in Kurukshetra, Haryana today to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the ninth Sikh Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji as well as martyrs Bhai Mati Das, Bhai Sati Das and Bhai Dayala.
This function was organized by the Central and Haryana governments and the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee. On this occasion, Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, Cabinet Ministers Kanwar Pal, Manish Grover, Seema Trikha, Sandeep Singh and Jayanti Prasad were present. The Prime Minister said that his government will continue to serve the ‘Guru Parampara’ in this manner. He described Guru Sahib as the 'Hind ki Chadar' and said that the form of today's India has a deep imprint of the knowledge and sacrifice of the Satgurus.
Mr. Modi said that this morning he was in Ayodhya, the city of Ramayana, and now he is in Kurukshetra, the city of Gita. On November 9, 2019, when the Supreme Court's verdict on the Ram temple came, he had gone to Dera Baba Nanak in Punjab to inaugurate the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor. Earlier, the Prime Minister inaugurated the newly built 'Panchjanya' memorial dedicated to the sacred conch of Lord Krishna in Kurukshetra. He also visited the 'Mahabharata Anubhav Kendra'.
