Fourth class employees participated in the Mahabandh in large numbers Darshan Lubana

Patiala, August 27:- Fourth class employees of government and semi-government institutions participated in the ‘Kachian-Pakian Punjab Mahabandh’ in large numbers and also participated in the regional rally in large numbers.
Here, they started gathering in front of the Forest Department office since morning. On this occasion, strong slogans were raised against the government and a pledge was also made to make the Aam Aadmi Party government work. A large number of people, especially women, were also present here.
While marching, the employees were demanding that the old pension be restored, DA is our right, all the raw employees should be made permanent without conditions, the contract system should be completely abolished, employees should be included in outsourced services while making them permanent, educational qualification and age limit conditions should be removed for sanitation workers, sewermen and all fourth class employees.
Allowances including minimum pay scales should be given, probation period should be ended, all the lost allowances including a special increment given to the fourth class employees since 2011 which has been taken away should be restored. It was demanded that the Rs 200 jizya tax imposed on the employees during the previous Congress government should be withdrawn.
The revised pay scales should be implemented by the Pay Commission on all scheme employees including mid-day meal and the services should be regularized. The economic exploitation of the society should be ended by appointing Safai Sewak at Rs 3000 and Chowkidar at Rs 5000 in about 8000 (eight thousand) government schools of Punjab and regular recruitment should be done.
Part-time employees should be regularized. The fourth class employees are not being recruited in the entire department after 1992, therefore regular recruitment should be done. The posts abolished during the reorganization of the departments should be restored. Regular pay scale should be implemented on permanent employees in the Forest Department and the condition of retirement at the age of 58 should be abolished.
The salaries of the raw employees in the Forest, Wildlife, Horticulture, Public Works Department should be released. Outsourced employees in the Animal Husbandry and Health Department should be merged into the department. All the raw employees/employees working under the funds in the colleges should be regularized and economic exploitation should be stopped.
Apart from this, equal work equal pay should be implemented, a multiplier of 2.59 should be applied to pensioners, ACP should be restored etc. are also included.
On this occasion, Darshan Singh Lubana, Ram Lal Rama, Shiv Charan, Inderpal Walia, Ram Prasad Sahota, Surajpal Yadav, Prakash Lubana President Federation, Narang Singh, Balvir Singh, Baljit Balli, Tarlochan Maru, Darshan Mallewal, Balwinder Nabha, Tarlochan Mandoli, Rajesh Golu, Arun Kumar, Ram Jodha, Lakhvir Singh, Sunil Dutt, Makhan Singh, Ved Prakash, Satnarayan Goni, Harbans Singh, Subhash, Mod Nath Sharma, Satnam Singh, Ajay Kumar Sanour, Rajesh Kumar CMO etc. were present.
