First Aid CPR and Fire Safety Quiz Competitions Held at Kendriya Vidyalaya

Patiala, September 11, 2026:- On the occasion of International First Aid, CPR and Care for the Injured Day, inter-school quiz competitions on first aid, fire safety, traffic rules, healthcare and family safety were organized at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Patiala, under the leadership of Principal Dr. Arun Kumar. Shri Kaka Ram Verma, Chief Trainer of the First Aid, Safety and Health Awareness Mission and retired Training Supervisor of the Red Cross, asked questions on these subjects and explained them to the participants. 
The winning students were awarded prizes and honoured. Principal Dr. Arun Kumar encouraged students and teachers to obtain complete information and training on these subjects, as an increasing number of people are being affected and losing their lives due to sudden incidents. He said that accidents can be prevented through training and practice, thereby saving precious lives and property.
Expressing his gratitude, he said that despite being a senior citizen, Shri Verma has been providing students, teachers, police personnel and factory workers with information on these subjects, which has resulted in greater benefits and recognition for the students.
