ExElectrician Compulsorily Retired for Ignoring Public Complaints

Chandigarh, August 25 - The Haryana Government has decided to give compulsory retirement to an Ex-Electrician of the Public Health Engineering Department with immediate effect on the basis of serious matters revealed in the departmental inquiry. According to the orders, a total of 5 charge sheets were issued against the Ex-Electrician under Rule-7.
In this regard, the investigating officer had investigated all the charges including habitual absence, ignoring public complaints, misleading higher officials and negligence in discharging official duties. The orders also mention non-action on complaints of CM Window and lack of compliance with the instructions of senior officers.
Public Health Engineering Minister Mr. Ranbir Gangwa said that timely resolution of public complaints and responsible discharge of official duties is the main responsibility of the officers. He said that action in this case has been taken as per the departmental inquiry, available records and prescribed service rules. The government gives highest priority to accountability and public service in the government system.
