District Legal Services Authority invites applications for selection of paralegal volunteers

Sangrur, August 29:- The District Legal Services Authority, Sangrur is selecting eligible persons with a sense of social service as para-legal volunteers under the revised Para-legal Volunteer Scheme of the National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi. In this regard, applications have been sought from the residents of urban and rural areas of Sangrur district in the notice issued by the authority.
According to the information, persons who are at least 10th pass or above and are interested in social service can apply for this. For the selection of para-legal volunteers, teachers, retired teachers, retired government employees and senior citizens, MSW students and teachers, Anganwadi workers, doctors, students and law students, besides members of non-political and social service dedicated NGOs and clubs have also been considered eligible.
In addition, members of women’s neighborhood groups and other self-help groups, especially those belonging to marginalized and weaker sections, have also been given the opportunity to apply as per the prescribed qualifications. Apart from this, any other literate person, preferably matriculation pass, who is motivated for social service, can also apply.
Interested candidates can submit their applications on the prescribed proforma at the office of District Legal Services Authority, Samjhauta Sadan, Sangrur on or before 4 pm on 5th October 2026.
