Development Works Initiated in Village Bhaddalwadd Blessed by the Holy Footsteps of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji by OSD Sukhveer Singh
Dhuri, 2 March:- In Village Bhaddalwadd, blessed by the holy footsteps of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, development works worth 50 lakh rupees are being undertaken for the overall development of the village. Under this initiative, the foundation work for a gate to be constructed in memory of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji at a cost of approximately 10 lakh rupees was inaugurated by Sukhveer Singh, Officer on Special Duty to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.
On this occasion, he stated that on the occasion of the 350th Martyrdom Day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the Punjab Government is carrying out development works worth 50 lakh rupees each in villages blessed by the holy footsteps of Guru Sahib.
He informed that Village Bhaddalwadd is a highly historical village where three revered Gurus have graced the land with their holy presence. He stated that the First Patshah Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, and Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji had placed their holy footsteps here.
Providing further details, he said that various development projects worth a total of 50 lakh rupees are being implemented in the village. These include 5 lakh rupees for the bus stand, 10 lakh rupees for renovation of the road leading to Gurdwara Sahib, 5 lakh rupees for the Panchayat House, and 20 lakh rupees for the development of the sports ground.
On this occasion, Pushpinder Sharma, Sarpanch Karamjit Singh, Teerath Singh, Sohan Singh, and a large number of village residents were present.
