Ambala, January 14:- The Hon'ble Court has sentenced a person to 20 years in prison and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on him for committing a heinous crime against a minor.
On July 18, 2023, a case was registered in Padhao police station area for committing a heinous crime by intimidation. Taking action in this case, the police arrested the accused Shivam on July 19, 2023 and sent him to judicial custody as per the orders of the Hon'ble Court. After thorough investigation, the case was registered and the case was tried in the Hon'ble Court.
Today, on 14th January 2026, the Additional District and Sessions Court in this case, taking into account the evidence, set a precedent of justice and delivered a historic verdict by sentencing the accused Shivam Kumar, resident of Gujarati Mohalla, 12 Cross Road, Ambala Cantonment, to 20 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 10,000.
