Construction work of new Darbar Sahib begins at Gurdwara Gobindpura Sahib Kokomajri
Sunam, September 1:- Punjab Cabinet Minister Mr. Aman Arora today participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the construction of the new Darbar Sahib at Gurdwara Gobindpura Sahib Kokomajri. On this occasion, the construction work of the new Darbar Sahib was started by the five Singh Sahibs, in which the congregation participated with great devotion and spirit.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora said that today is a very auspicious day for the entire congregation and the Gurdwara Committee of the area. He said that Gurdwara Gobindpura Sahib Kokomajri is a holy Guru Ghar belonging to the tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and the commencement of the construction work of the new Darbar Sahib at this holy place is a matter of joy and pride for the entire congregation.
Mr. Aman Arora congratulated the entire Sangat for the start of this sacred work and said that Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji has given us a message of service to humanity and the welfare of all. He prayed to Guru Sahib that this sacred work should be completed in a proper manner and on time with the cooperation of the Sangat and the grace of Guru Sahib and keep the entire Sangat in a state of excellence.
Speaking informally with the journalists on this occasion, Cabinet Minister Shri Aman Arora said that the Punjab Government is taking another important step towards good governance by launching an online portal of 102 new government services today. He said that this will facilitate the people to get services related to various government departments from their homes through their mobile phones.
He said that for services related to pension, revenue department, transport and other departments, people will not need to visit government offices repeatedly. With the online system, people will be able to track the status of their application from their homes and will also be able to find out with which officer their application is.
Mr. Aman Arora said that complete transparency and accountability will be ensured in this system. In case of not getting the service within the stipulated time, the application will be automatically escalated to the higher authority. He said that this will ensure timely delivery of government services and also reduce the hassle of the people.
On this occasion, office bearers of the Gurdwara Management Committee, members, dignitaries of the city and a large number of devotees were present.
